We Are the Vessels of Each Other's Melancholies, dir. Paolo Valencia. I had the honor of scoring this film, which won Best Director and Best Screenplay at Cinefest Fairfield 2024. Content warning: this film includes depiction of mental illness and some coarse language.
Shelved, dir. Peyton Schwab. I thoroughly enjoyed scoring this laugh-out-loud animated film, which tells the offbeat story of a washed up cereal mascot adjusting to life as a 9-to-5 office worker. Winner of Best Storytelling award at Villa Maria's 2025 Senior Showcase.
A piece for trumpet and fixed media, constructed around a few audio samples from SUNY Potsdam's Pride March 2022. I was honored to have Declan Kirby give this piece a sharp, agile, and elegant premiere!
Reading in action! One of my first ensemble based projects while pursuing my undergraduate degree was to write for the exciting new chamber group FiveByFive, whose membership includes Eastman, Nazareth and Roberts Wesleyan professors. Their expressive brilliance provided much inspiration!
This remarkable student-centered theater project has been a favorite creative outlet of mine for some time! For the 2025 production, "Fearless", I played keyboards in the pit orchestra and arranged songs by Sara Bareilles, Jeff Richmond, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul. Recorded live at SUNY Potsdam's Proscenium Theater on April 3, 2025.Â
For more of my arranging work, check out this recording of myself and my band Red Rooks performing on my voice recital! "Durocher" was written by the pioneering transgender composer and singer-songwriter Beverly Glenn-Copeland, whose work has been a significant research and performance interest of mine.
